Selenium
In the form of L-Selenomethionine, selenium has protected against sun damage and delayed skin cancer in animal tests. But it is not known if such benefits apply to people.

Q10
A 1999 study found that topical use of antioxidant coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) improved the skin resistance to oxidative stress by UV radiation.

Tea
Green tea, black tea and ginger might give some protection against skin cancer and skin aging. One study suggested that topical use of green tea could protect skin from UV damage. However, while these products are for sale, do not yet have reliable regulation.

Silymarin
Silymarin, found in milk thistle could inhibit cancers caused by UVB rays in animals.

Natural antioxidants
Aloe, lemon oil, extract and grape seed extract contains antioxidants and coral are healthy for the skin, although its effect on wrinkles is weak.

Note: A wide range of herbal products, both oral and topical, may worsen or cause dermatological problems.
Some Chinese herbal creams may have steroids, and some contain mercury or arsenic.
In addition, certain oral herbal medicines used for medical purposes or to treat emotional conditions may produce irritation in reaction to sunlight (photosensitivity). Among them we have the St. John’s wort, kava and yohimbine.

Furfuriladenina
The furfuriladenina is a natural growth hormone found in the DNA of plants and animals, and has antioxidant and anti-aging. Some laboratories suggest that it may delay the onset and reducing the effects of aging skin. However, the results were very acceptable for human experiments.

Vitamin K
The vitamin K microsponges clean the spider veins under the eyes and small damaged blood vessels. Vitamin K is important for blood clotting.
