The skin produces sebum (oil) in order to waterproof the surface and prevent moisture from evaporating.

But in daily life and still take care, there are factors that erode this layer. They can be weather elements like wind, sun and cold, disease, or also related to our habits: The diet that we, our physical activity-or lack thereof, etc.

We need to understand how our skin to know how best moisturizer. The skin is divided into several layers and are the surface which are responsible for their appearance. The epidermis-the outer layer, contains the cells that produce keratin, which is the protein that regulates moisture.

How and why skin moisten the layer hydro-lipid-protein, which prevents this moisture evaporates, it forms with the help of the sebaceous glands housed in the next layer-the dermis. How these glands will define whether our skin dry, oily, mixed, normal, etc..

The moisturizers often contain vegetable oils and water, in addition to moisturize, soften and erase signs of dryness (lines, spots, scales). The best time to apply is after a bath and exfoliation: the product will penetrate more effectively. It is also recommended to use them before going to sleep and leave it on for the night, as the cells renew themselves better when the body rests.

Then recommend a prescription moisturizer with natural ingredients make ourselves at home:

Cream banana and honey we step on a banana (which provides potassium) and ¼ watermelon (in the amount of water it contains) and add the juice of ½ lemon (which has vitamin C and is also a preservative and antiseptic).

Incorporate 1 tablespoon liquid honey (moisturizing), 1 teaspoon baking powder (which has vitamins and minerals) and integrate the mix.

Then we add 1 egg (which provides protein, iron and vitamins B6, B12 and D) and a pot of natural yogurt (without additives).

Mix. Apart diluted with water one teaspoon of sodium benzoate (another preservative) and incorporate into our cream.

Sift 10 tablespoons oatmeal (rich in protein, iron, potassium, phosphate, magnesium and silicon) and also added.

Mix to make a smooth paste, packaged and stored in the refrigerator.

This natural moisturizer and creams that we can get on sale, stimulate the action of the keratin. But we can not forget that whenever we speak of the health of our body and its aesthetic reflection, we need to follow a balanced diet.
