Make Up Your Skin Health

More than 70 years ago that the Federal Government is closely monitoring the cosmetics industry so they do not pose a risk to your health.
The Law on Food, Drug and Cosmetic vigil is responsible for cosmetics manufactured and packed in clean plants, which contain no toxic ingredients or in poor condition, and carry labels clear and reliable information on their ingredients, and instructions for use without risk to health.
Before selling cosmetics, manufacturers must ensure that both products are safe ingredients. If these companies do not abide by the law, FDA may take legal action against them.
To protect the health of your skin, the FDA will make the following recommendations:
- Follow the label instructions, especially the ‘Precautions’ and ‘warnings’.
- Keep the packaging of cosmetic clean and tightly closed when not using them.
- Wash your hands before putting on makeup.
- Do not share makeup with anyone.
- Do not add saliva or water to makeup.
- Throw away makeup if it has changed color or odor.
- Do not keep makeup in places where temperatures exceed 85 degrees Celsius Fahrenheit/29.
- Stop using the product if you have a rash or other problem.
- Do not use spray cans while you smoke or are near a flame. Could cause a fire.
- Do not wear makeup while you’re driving.
